SUMMARY OF POSITION
The receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors to TMH locations. This position is important because it represents the first impression of the company, and the individuals who fill these positions are considered valuable because they are the image of TMH. Although skills are required, the main qualification is the ability to greet people with a smile, maintain a positive attitude, embrace the TMH brand at all times, and participate in a healthy culture of being passionate about the people in the communities that TMH serves.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Welcome visitors to TMH by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.
- Maintain employee and department directories and direct visitors to the appropriate TMH personnel.
- Maintain and manage the visitor check-in process.
- Check-in freight and mail deliveries.
- Distribute mail to appropriate departments.
- Maintain a safe and clean reception area.
- Errands, when necessary, as directed by the Managing Partner.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school or GED equivalent is required. Experience is not necessary, but will be considered.
- An associate degree or college degree is not required but will be considered.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Telephone skills, Email and Text skills, verbal communication, Microsoft Office Skills, Computer Skills (browser usage, basic search engine query, printing, file management, etc.) Listening, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Organizational Skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to sit for long periods and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing a computer screen.
